Oldie..........
Okay. I was in the Washingont Post a few years back. I think it was in on "2006". I was walking in Georgetown when this lady appoached me and asked to take a picture of me because I was wearing a bolero. I did NOT want to do it but my sister and friends coaxed me into doing it with a promise of a cookie. The reporter (or journalist?) asked me where I got my bolero and all I could think of was I got it in Mississippi and and its homemade. KNOWing it wasnt hand made but was bought at the local boutique in Jackson. LOL. I dont do well around professional cameras and strangers. LOL. Oh. I forgot the girl who was featured in the article with me.

TGIF
Its Friday and I plan to make a dash to Forever 21 and Steve Madden today after work. Im not a Forever 21 fiend like some in the fashion blog world but I have spotted a few pieces that tickle my fancy. The only thing I dont like about Forever 21 is their "Return Policy". I HATE shopping at clothing stores that do not offer a "Money Back" return policy. I have a major "fear of commitment" when it comes to clothes and especially shoes. What I may LOVE in the store's dressing room I get home and question "Why In the hell did i buy this" when I get home. Lol. Hopefully Forever 21 will be kind to me this afternoon and make me fall head over heels in love with recession friendly fashion. My friend girl Charlene works for Steve Madden so Im going there in case I see some shoes that tickle my fancy and with her 50% off employee discount im gonna have to come out of that store with something in my hand.

Im a slacker..........
But only cause of the weather. Lately its been snowing, freezing, and all types of wintery mess here in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Northern Virginia) so I havent been even thinking about outfit choices but only wearing things that keep my black behind warm. lol. But I WILL be posting tomorrow. I am DETERMINED to wear more than my warm weather gear.
